Gbv asibavikele

Ntuthuko Mkhize brings a new Maskandi release into focus with Gbv asibavikele, a five-track EP set for 15 October 2026. The project keeps the spotlight firmly on the KwaZulu-Natal artist, with every song on the tracklist credited to Mkhize.

The EP opens with “Asibavikele”, which shares its title with the project, before moving into “Bayadlala” and “Ungenzani”. Those opening selections set up a concise listen that stays focused across its five-song run rather than stretching into a longer album-length release.

Mkhize also includes “Rest in peace(Nkosiyamagcokama)” as the fourth track, followed by “Ubobuya” to close the EP. With no featured artists listed, Gbv asibavikele is presented as a solo release from beginning to end.

For listeners following new Maskandi music in 2026, the project offers a short, direct introduction to Ntuthuko Mkhize’s current material. Check out the full five-track Gbv asibavikele EP when it arrives on 15 October.
