Ubani ubaba kajesu?

Mxhashazwa brings a compact Maskandi release to the table with Ubani ubaba kajesu?, a five-track EP arriving in 2026. The project carries a focused tracklist, moving between solo cuts and collaborations while keeping its title front and centre.

The EP opens with Ngeke ngikuxolele, featuring Thandeka Radebe, before moving into the title track, Ubani ubaba kajesu. Mxhashazwa then follows with Amabhimbi, giving the release a solo moment before the collaborations return across the final two tracks.

Umayibuthe features Londeka Shangase, while Yibo abangondlayo closes the EP with Skhenqe. With three of its five songs carrying listed features, the project brings several guest appearances into its short run without losing Mxhashazwa’s name from the centre of the tracklist.

Ubani ubaba kajesu? is set for release on 9 October 2026, adding a new Maskandi EP to the year’s release schedule. Check out the full five-track project for Mxhashazwa’s latest selection, including the title cut and its three confirmed collaborations.
