A pledge

Umhlekisi steps into the Maskandi space with A pledge, a six-track EP released in 2026. The project keeps the focus firmly on the artist, with every song on the tracklist credited to Umhlekisi and no listed guest appearances.

The EP opens with Awsayibambi ifoni before moving through Lumnand uthando and the title track, A pledge. That title arrives as the third song, giving the release a clear centre point as listeners move through its compact tracklist.

The closing stretch features Isiqumama, Usbali and Intecijile, bringing the EP to six tracks in total. With its concise format, A pledge offers a focused listen for followers of new Maskandi releases.

Released on 10 October 2026, the project presents Umhlekisi across a full set of solo-credited songs. Explore A pledge from start to finish and check out the complete tracklist.
