Intombi Ayinikwa'imali

Mshinwemali’s Maskandi album Intombi Ayinikwa'imali brings together 12 tracks, with the project released in 2023. The album opens with “Ngicel Uhambe”, featuring Zothando and Senzo Ntuli, before moving through a tracklist that keeps Mshinwemali at the centre.

The release includes familiar titles such as “Bekezela”, “Anoqaphela” and “Ayinikwa Intomb'imali”. The title-related track appears as the fourth song, credited with Neli Mkhonde, Senzo Ntuli and Neli Mkhondo. Other songs on the album include “U Zulu”, “Uqobolwami”, “Ngiyamsola Umawomtanami” and “Zaselawini”.

Senzo Ntuli features across the project, appearing on every track listing from the opening collaboration through to the closing songs. Additional featured appearances come from Mqhele Ka Shaka on “U Zulu”, while Neli Mkhonde and Neli Mkhondo are credited on “Bekezela” and “Ayinikwa Intomb'imali”. Zothando appears on the opening track alongside the other listed collaborators.

The album closes with “Uqobolwam”, following “Anoqapela”, “Izwi Lendoda” and “Uqobolwam” earlier in the tracklist. Released on 2 July 2023, Intombi Ayinikwa'imali gives Maskandi listeners a full 12-track project to explore, with Mshinwemali joined by several credited collaborators across the album.
