Umkhohlisi (P1)

Amabongwa steps into 2026 with Umkhohlisi (P1), a six-track Maskandi EP released on 6 February. The project keeps its focus clear, with Nhlakanipho appearing across the full tracklist.

The EP opens with Emanxiweni before moving into Ukusokola and the title track, Umkhohlisi. That run gives the project an immediate introduction while keeping the featured collaboration at the centre of its opening stretch.

Nhlakanipho is credited on every song, including Unozipho and Izigcwelegcwele. The consistent pairing runs through to Kwa Ceza, which closes the EP and completes its six-track sequence.

With its compact tracklist and clear Maskandi identity, Umkhohlisi (P1) is a focused release from Amabongwa. Listen through the complete EP and explore all six collaborations with Nhlakanipho.
